Are there any chemical bonds on the interface of ice-asphalt?

When the snowfall on the road surface was compacted by vehicles, it always became ice and tightly bound to the surface of asphalt pavement. The ice is always diffcult to be removed, even by a heavy ice blower machine. The ice would accelerate the deterioration of road surface by freeze-thaw cycles once it falls in the cracks and voids.
