Do You Rely on AI?

From my experience and knowedge in the field related to materials science and minerals, AI is a great assistant for you to dig out some specific information (such as an image or document), or draft a general document, or consult a common sense, or help to translate or sharpen languages.

However, currently, AIs’ knowledge level is still at a stage of bachelor or master student. If you look for expert level advices, AI may often provide inaccurate even totally wrong answers - it is beyond AI’s capacity currently, AI may write same paragraphs for you and your colleagues if you ask for similar questions or writing helps, even you do it separately. If you share your confidential information with AI, the information could become a part of the big database and available to the public.

基于我在材料科学与矿物学相关领域的经验与知识，我认为人工智能（AI）是一个极佳的辅助工具，能够帮助你挖掘特定信息（例如图像或文档）、起草通用文稿、查询常识，或是协助进行翻译及润色语言。然而，就目前而言，AI 的知识水平仍仅处于本科生或硕士生的层级。如果你寻求专家级的建议，AI 往往会给出不准确、甚至完全错误的答案——这尚处于其当前能力的范畴之外。此外，如果你与同事分别向 AI 提出相似的问题或写作协助请求，它可能会为你们生成完全相同的段落内容。最后，如果你向 AI 透露了保密信息，这些信息可能会被纳入其庞大的数据库中，进而向公众公开。
